Disney Dream Cruise Vacation ended for a 22-year-old shoplifting warrant for a woman

Robin Hall’s arrest stems from a theft conviction in Florida. The woman shoplifted cigarettes from Walmart in 1991 and never paid the related court fees. She had just wrapped up a Disney Dream cruise when authorities nabbed her.

Robin Hall, 41, was nabbed Thursday when the Disney cruise ship docked in Port Canaveral, Fla., at the tail end of her vacation with her husband and two children, reported NBC affiliate WESH in Orlando.

A Connecticut woman’s Disney Dream cruise dissolved into a nightmare when she was thrown in jail on a shoplifting warrant — from 22 years ago.

Robin Hall, 41, was arrested and booked into Brevard County Jail on Thursday for a 1991 shoplifting warrant.

There, authorities were waiting for Hall. Her youthful indiscretion caught up with her when the ship conducted a check of all passengers looking for names on a terrorism watch list.

The warrant stems from her failure to pay an $85 court cost related to a theft conviction in 1991.

“I shoplifted cigarettes from Walmart,” said Hall, who was 18 at the time.

'I do not believe I deserve this,' says Robin Hall, 41, of Connecticut, following her arrest Thursday on a 22-year-old shoplifting warrant.

She was hauled to Brevard County Jail but can’t post bail until she’s transferred to Orange County, where the crime had occurred, sometime this week, NBC Connecticut said.

The mom now works for aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney, where she reportedly helps to design jet engines.

“I take full responsibility for what I did,” Hall said, “but I do not believe I deserve this.”
