Jacqueline, Barbara Walters' Daughter Arrested For DUI
Jacqueline was arrested with a DUI in Florida over the weekend.
TMZ, which broke the news Monday, reported that she was "taken to the ground" by police, who said they thought she would try to run into traffic.
Danforth and a male passenger were pulled over by cops around 1:30 a.m. in Naples, Florida on Sunday. When police handcuffed the man, according to the police report, Danforth tussled with cops and "began shouting."
"I was afraid that the suspect may run into traffic on the highway, so she was taken to the ground due to her unpredictable behavior, then secured in handcuffs," the arresting officer wrote in the police report. She was later released from custody after posting a $1,000 bond.
The arrest record, the Daily Mail noted, showed that it was her first infraction as an adult. Danforth, who is now 44, had a turbulent childhood, and ran away from home for a month and abused drugs.
