A woman in her late 20s was arrested early Monday morning after rear-ending a police cruiser in West Hollywood. Police suspect she was drunk at the time of the accident.
Two West Hollywood sheriff's deputies were checking the identification of a jaywalker at Santa Monica Boulevard and Orange Drive at 1:45 a.m. when the woman, driving a silver sedan, rear-ended their cruiser, according to City News Service.
The driver, described only as a woman in her late 20s, was moving about 25 to 30 miles per hour at the time of the collision.
Both officers were seated inside the cruiser at the time of the crash but were uninjured. Both cars sustained moderate damage.
