Former Baseball Wives star Anna Benson was arrested on July 8 after allegedly raiding estranged husband Kris Benson’s apartment with a gun and a metal baton.
The former New York Mets pitcher, who filed for divorce last year, claims that Anna angrily showed up to his house on July 8 after being forced by the court to vacate their marital home. Kris says Anna whipped out an “expandable metal baton,” threatening to hit him, law enforcement officials tell TMZ.
Anna, 37, then allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded money. Oddly, Anna was allegedly wearing a bulletproof vest, so maybe she thought Kris would pull a gun on her as well.
Instead, Kris, 38, reportedly told Anna he would get her money, but left the home and called the police, the report states.
Anna was booked on four counts on July 8: two counts of felony aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
She’s certainly famous for her outlandish behavior.
