SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- The FBI is searching the office of California state Senator Ron Calderon but is not disclosing the reason for the investigation.
Laura Eimiller, the spokeswoman for the FBI office in Los Angeles, said the warrants were served about 3 p.m. Tuesday and that agents were still inside the Capitol in the evening.
She would not disclose the target of the search warrants, but Senate Chief Sergeant-at-Arms Tony Beard told The Associated Press it was Calderon.
