Erin Brockovich Arrested For DUI While Sailing!

Former legal secretary portrayed by Julia Roberts nicked for driving a boat under the influence

But the real-life Erin Brockovich was reportedly arrested over the weekend for driving a boat while intoxicated.

Brockovich, 52, is believed to have been taken into custody in Las Vegas on Friday for allegedly steering her boat on Lake Mead after she had been drinking.

She was taken to the Clark County Detention Center and booked for operating under the influence.

According to TMZ, the environmental activist was seen by a game warden trying to dock her boat at Lake Mead when the warden noticed she "exhibited several signs of an intoxicated boater".

The Nevada Department of Wildlife says that the officer called to the scene conducted an investigation and then arrested Erin whose blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit of .08.

Brockovich became a household name in 2000, when Roberts played her in a film that won Roberts the Best Actress Oscar.
