Conspiracy in Lawsuit for Jessica Simpson for Baby-Grabbing

Jessica Simpson and a celebrity gossip tabloid are accused of a conspiracy to grab a man's baby and pose for photos with it in a hilariously bizarre lawsuit.

New Orleans' Times-Picayune claims Christopher Hurst took his teenage daughter and infant son to a department store back in October 2011 to meet Jess.

When Hurst got close to Simpson, some stranger suggested he hand his infant over to the pop star and fashion mogul, who was pregnant at the time.

At that point, he claims she took his baby and posed with him for the cameras, making it appear as if the child were hers ... while a guy took photos.

In retrospect, the Louisiana resident feels he was set up - and exploited by the star.

Hurst says was shocked to see, months later, that the tabloid posted pictures of Jessica and HIS baby on the cover of OK!, implying that were her first-born.

Hilariously (and typically, for OK!) Jessica's baby wasn't even born yet. And is a girl. Named Maxwell. But anyway, he is not happy about this in the least.

Hurst accuses Jessica of conspiring with the magazine, hatching a plot to hawk the "first pictures" of "her as a new mom" ... which we can actually believe.

He's suing Simpson, OK! and Getty Images for damages in excess of $75,000. It'll be tough to prove this is what happened ... but again, we'll buy it.
