Smashing Pumpkins' singer Billy Corgan is getting some heat from his neighbor, Eric Dane. TheGrey's Anatomy star and his actress wife Rebecca Gayheart are suing the rocker over a falling tree.
According to the site, Dane and Gayheart are suing for nuisance, negligence, and injunctive relief, claiming that Corgan was aware that the trees posed a potential danger. The couple is demanding unspecified damages, noting that Gayheart was pregnant at the time the incident occured.
In a statement to THR, Corgan says “I was horrified when I learned about the tree falling during what was a massive storm, a storm with winds strong enough to uproot a 50 ft tree by its base!
