Miss Illinois USA 2013, Stacie Juris, Arrested Indecent Exposure

 Miss Illinois USA 2013 is in the news is because she wore a hockey jersey without pants. As the days count down to the final competition of the 2013 Miss USA pageant being held on June16, Juris has become a trending topic because of her involvement in the pageant, but old news about an arrest has surfaced about the contestant, and it is vying with a pantsless photo she took with Miss Massachusetts Sarah Kid prior to Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup finals.

Stacie Juris rocked a Chicago Blackhawks jersey alongside Sarah Kid, who sported a Boston Bruins shirt, Thursday (June 13) at the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, according to CBS News. The two locked eyes over a pair of crossed hockey sticks as they donned jerseys of the teams from their home states.

There's something sexy in an attractive woman wearing a large, overflowing shirt and the NHL certainly took advantage of it. And it was quickly noted that the two beauty pageant contestants weren't wearing pants...

But it was the acquisition of clothing that is at the heart of Juris' other major storyline. In fact, according to various accounts, including an April 2011 report from the Orland Park Patch (Illinois), the then former Miss Illinois Teen USA 2009 attempted to acquire clothing without paying. Police were called to an Orland Square Mall because Juris' had allegedly attempted to leave a department store with $288 worth of clothing in her purse.

According to the Orland Park Police blotter, Stacie L. Juris was arrested and charged with retail theft.

Still, the arrest (and if there is doubt that she was arrested, mugshots of the beauty queen can be found in numerous places) apparently became a humbling experience (the Orland Patch noted she posted one word to her Twitter account that day: "humbled") and only seemed to be a slight bump in the road for the former cheerleader.

Regardless, pageant officials do not seem to have found the arrest too disconcerting. Doubtless they knew about it prior to crowning the 22-year-old Miss Illinois USA 2013 back in November. Besides, America is all about restitution, redemption, and second chances.
