Reality TV Star, Curtis Hallock of "Mantracker" Shoot by Canadian Police

Newsflash from your Hollywood Attorney:

Canadian TV viewers are used to seeing desperate people running and stumbling through the forest on Mantracker, an outdoor reality TV series, on domestic cable channel OLN, where contestants are stalked like prey by expert hunters.

But former Mantracker star Curtis Hallock was shot and wounded by the Alberta Royal Canadian Mounted Police after being pulled over during a traffic stop for possible impaired driving, according to the CTV News website.

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team was called in after two RCMP officers on Thursday evening shot Hallock, a outdoorsman and horse whisperer from Grande Cache, Alberta, in the arm and leg.

The RCMP are not giving details on the confrontation that apparently ensued between the second-season Mantracker star and the arresting officers.

Hallock is currently in a Grand Prairie hospital under medical care.
