Newsflash from your Hollywood Attorney:
The wife of a famous Russian sculptor who was held up at gunpoint last week outside her posh New York City apartment reportedly told the gunman he didn’t have it in him to pull the trigger.
"I said, 'It's not easy to shoot someone. You have to have b---s to do that. And you have none,'" Anna Graham recalled telling the gunman on July 3 in Manhattan, the Daily News reports. The gunman’s accomplice urged him to "shoot, shoot, shoot," she told the paper.
Graham said she maintained eye contact throughout the confrontation and "for a second there, I saw fear — for just a spilt second. I went against all the rules, everything he knew about life."
The men were reportedly taking items out of a car Graham was watching and indeed made off with about $600 in case, an iPod mini and a Samsung Galaxy cell phone, a police source told the paper. They eventually fled the scene and remain at large.
Graham, the wife of Russian-born artist Ernst Neizvestny, told the News: "He should be very grateful to me that he didn’t shoot, because once he does that it changes his life 100 percent."
