Rocker Rick Springfield was apparently arrested today near Los Angeles after he missed a court date - one that he allegedly didn't know he even had.
Fortunately, the point was probably moot. Sorry. We mean it's been resolved.
"Arrested this am on a bench warrant. I didn't know that I was supposed [to] appear in court a few weeks ago," he wrote on his Facebook page.
"It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up. I am free to go."
Springfield was arrested for DUI in May 2011 after police spotted him speeding. He got really mad at the cops and posed for a really sad mug shot.
He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor reckless driving charge with "driving under the influence conditions" last year and got three years of probation.
