ANAHEIM – It took firefighters about 45 minutes to control a fire at an Anaheim home where authorities discovered what they described as an elaborate marijuana operation. The fire was reported at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday in a single-family, two-story home in the 1500 block of West Tonia Court, according to Anaheim fire officials. Several people smelled the smoke in the area and called 911.

Sabol said firefighters encountered access issues when they discovered an "elaborate marijuana operation." One person was home at the time of the fire and was not injured.
The marijuana operation and the fire are under investigation.
