Hollywood Casino scheme - Two arrested

LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. - A second suspect was arrested Wednesday in a case where two ex-employees at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg allegedly stole more than $400,000.

Christopher Krabbe, 42, of West Harrison, Ind., turned himself in to state police investigators at the Dearborn County Jail. Krabbe was booked on charges of racketeering, theft and money laundering, which are all Class “C” felonies.

Krabbe is a former surveillance technician at Hollywood Casino.

State police said the two men allegedly created false security companies. The pair would then purchase security equipment and charge repair work from their companies to the casino, often overcharging and double billing for the equipment and work.

The arrests are the result of a five-month investigation by the Versailles post of the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Gaming Commission.
